Deonte Dixon

The Bremerton Wildcats are a men's pro-am basketball team that plays year-round throughout the Pacific Northwest. The teams mission is to help high school graduates and active duty millitry players (at the completion of their enlistment) obtain a roster spot on a college men's basketball team and get enrolled in school. It also helps current active duty players to complete and submit an application for the annually All-Navy Basketball team.

The Wildcats are veteran owned and operated and coached by former college, high school, and All-Navy basketball coaches.

Playing for the Bremerton Wildcats is not easy. The team plays more than 50 games each year (Oct. to Aug.) , in Kitsap County and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Top talent from each Bremerton High graducating class and from active duty personnel station at Naval Base Kitsap (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Subase Bangor, and NWS Keyport) are personally invited to come play for the team. The Bremerton Wildcats DO NOT hold open tryouts. With a roster of no more than ten (10) players, playing time is at a premium but each player on the roster is guaranteed to play at least half a game. Some, obviously, play more. Each players is then evaluated after each game, using detailed game stats and video  to determine who will start next game. The game results, stats, and video are then uploaded to each players personal webpage on BremertonWildcats.com and then

distributed to local media, college coaches, community members, family, and friends. The team also uses

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube to keep its fan base informed. Additionally, ISPN Sports broadcast all games LIVE, with Kevin Mac providing the play-by-play. Players that college coaches show an interest in will be taken the school and personally introduced to coaching staff and be given an opportunity to participate with the school team in the open gym. What happens after that is between the player and the school's head coach.
